Leo is a Senior Product Designer and Design Engineer with over 20 years of experience at the intersection of design, technology, and innovation. He specialises in creating digital products that are not only functional and scalable but also deliver meaningful, human-centred experiences.

His journey began at the age of 15, when a designer recognised his potential during a workshop and offered him an internship. That early opportunity sparked a lifelong commitment to integrating design and technology to craft purposeful solutions.

Over the course of his career, he has worked with leading agencies and global brands including, Kooba, Originate, Boys and Girls and Access Group. He has also collaborated with top-tier partners such as Isobar, W/McCann, and MullenLowe. His work has earned multiple awards, including a commendation at the Irish Design Awards in 2016.

He has led and contributed to high-impact projects for clients such as ALDI, CBRE, Nissan, Fitbit, RIOT Games, Neutrogena, Jameson Whiskey, and Three. His approach combines systems thinking, user-centred design, and AI-driven innovation to deliver scalable, accessible, and transformative digital experiences.

Currently at Access Group, he focuses on designing user-first solutions that enhance the guest experience for millions of users worldwide through accommodation platforms. He is driven by a deep commitment to usability, accessibility, and the belief that great design can shape behaviour, drive innovation, and create meaningful change.

He is fluent in English and Portuguese, with conversational proficiency in Spanish, and currently resides in Valencia, Spain.
